This webinar introduces the principles of Irrigation Water Management (IWM) and its planning. Irrigation Water Management plans are required for all new sprinkler water-application systems funded with the Commission’s Irrigation Efficiencies Grants Program.
From initial project area assessment of soils, water application, and how fast water leaves the field through evapotranspiration, Harold Crose and Jon Culp, will take you through the principles and steps to get you started in irrigation water management planning. They’ll also show you where to find the data and resources for your local site-specific plan.
