Limited RPPP maintenance funding now open available to conservation districts

Funding is open to Washington Conservation Districts to support the maintenance of plants at existing holding sites previously funded by RPPP.

Districts may request up to a maximum amount of $10,000 and deliverables must be completed by the end of the fiscal year, June 30,2025.

Eligible activities for this round of funding includes:

  • Labor for plant maintenance.
  • Repairs to infrastructure essential for plant survival.
  • Up to $300 monthly for utilities related to plant care.
  • Materials and supplies.

The award selection process will be guided by the following criteria:

  • Preference will be given to districts who that have not yet received maintenance funding for FY25.
  • The proposal explains in detail how funds will be used for maintenance of existing plants at the cultivation site.
  • The district’s long-term capacity to maintain plant cultivation for restoration projects.
  • Ability to spend, install, and have deliverables completed by June 30, 2025.

Submission Deadline: October 4, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
