Funding is open to Washington Conservation Districts to support the maintenance of plants at existing holding sites previously funded by RPPP.
Districts may request up to a maximum amount of $10,000 and deliverables must be completed by the end of the fiscal year, June 30,2025.
Eligible activities for this round of funding includes:
- Labor for plant maintenance.
- Repairs to infrastructure essential for plant survival.
- Up to $300 monthly for utilities related to plant care.
- Materials and supplies.
The award selection process will be guided by the following criteria:
- Preference will be given to districts who that have not yet received maintenance funding for FY25.
- The proposal explains in detail how funds will be used for maintenance of existing plants at the cultivation site.
- The district’s long-term capacity to maintain plant cultivation for restoration projects.
- Ability to spend, install, and have deliverables completed by June 30, 2025.
