Whitman Conservation District is holding an in-person election on March 13, 2025. The poll site will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the district office at 614 N Mill St. Colfax, WA 99111. Ballots may be requested in advance, no later than February 21, 2025, by calling (509) 288-4644 or emailing jlarsen@whitmancd.org.
It is our mission to promote the wise, ethical and sustainable use of Natural Resources by leadership in the education and assistance of all people in the District. We take available technical, financial and educational resources, whatever their source, and focus or coordinate them so they meet the needs of the local land user for conservation of soil, water and related resources.
The Board of Supervisors meets regularly in the district office on the second Thursday of each month, at 6 p.m. There is no meeting in August.
