Nicole joined the Conservation Commission team in November 2022. Prior to joining the Commission, Nicole worked for Thurston County’s Office of Housing and Homeless Prevention, where she worked with Federal and State funded grants and contracts. Nicole has also worked with government contracts for the City of Arcata, CA, and has worked with tribes in California and Washington. Nicole earned a M.S. in Wildlife Biology from Humboldt State University, where she studied Roosevelt Elk on the Makah Reservation and surrounding managed timberlands of the Olympic Peninsula. In her free time, Nicole enjoys hiking and camping with her family.
