Alec is originally from California, where he grew up hiking in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. He received his B.A. in Political Science in 2017 and his Masters in Public Service in 2022, both from Utah Valley University. Alec has worked for the state of Washington in contract regulation and compliance since 2017, before coming to the Conservation Commission in 2023. Alec enjoys reading history, learning about plants, drinking yerba mate, and working in his garden.
