Ferry CD is hiring a new District Manager

The District Manager is responsible for overall management of the Conservation District, supervision of district employees and satisfaction of district clients. The District Manager provides administrative leadership to assist the Board of Supervisors with the coordination, management and administration of conservation programs.  The District Manager ensures that all District functions are managed, and services are provided in accordance with applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations and policies.

The District Manager is responsible for performing a combination of management, technical, and administrative functions.  The District Manager is directly responsible to the Board of Supervisors and shall be subject to the direction of the Board.

The District Manager is responsible for the delivery of services to landowners and the general public in a professional, efficient and productive manner leading to the conservation of natural resources consistent with the District’s mission and goals. The successful candidate must be able to work productively with a diverse community of landowners, farmers, ranchers, Tribes, community organizations, and government agencies.

Location:  The District office is located in Republic, Washington.

Supervision:  The District Manager will work under the direct supervision of the District’s Board of Supervisors through the contact supervisor and will report as needed directly to the Board of Supervisors.
