Lead Entity Coordinator position at Yakima Basin Fish and Wildlife Recovery Board

The Lead Entity Program Coordinator is a full-time position with the Yakima Basin Fish & Wildlife Recovery Board, a non-profit corporation created by county, city and tribal governments in the Yakima Basin. The Board’s mission is to promote collaborative efforts to recover at-risk fish and wildlife. The Lead Entity Program Coordinator runs an annual grant review program that recommends salmon recovery projects for funding by the state’s Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB) program. The Coordinator also works with project sponsors and other partners to help develop, fund and report on habitat projects identified as priorities in the Board’s recovery plans. This management position reports to the Board’s Executive Director and is based at the Board’s office in Yakima, Washington. This is a small office setting, and the Lead Entity Program Coordinator needs to have the flexibility to work at all levels, from developing and funding new initiatives to taking care of day-to-day office logistics.
