The Snohomish Conservation district announced that their Board of Supervisors is planning to file a new rate proposal with the Snohomish County Council. Approval of this proposal would ensure that the District can continue to provide services to private landowners while meeting the growing demands of a diverse and changing environment, and increase services in high priority areas as identified by partners and the public.
Three public meetings will be held on April 3rd, 4th and 11th. The meetings will run from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at locations in Everett, Arlington and Snohomish. To find locations, visit the conservation district website at: www.snohomishcd.org/ratesandcharges. The District Board of Supervisors encourages residents to contact their Snohomish County Council representative to let them know your thoughts on the funding proposal.
