Coordinated Resource Management

What is CRM?

The Coordinated Resource Management (CRM) program empowers local people to resolve land use and natural resource issues using collaborative problem solving.

Stakeholders form local coalitions that make natural resource decisions by consensus, often leading to effective solutions that generate strong local support.

CRM is defined by four key characteristics, which are:

  1. Voluntary
  2. Locally-led
  3. Landowner-initiated
  4. Inclusive
